What is it all about?
Communication is all about how we connect with others. That might be through listening, sharing information, telling stories, writing, American Sign Language (ASL) and other languages, or body language. In this project, you will learn about the world of communication and how you communicate with others.

Beginner
- Learn about active listening and practice it with a partner
- Get to know how you like to communicate
- Make introductions
- Learn to write a letter or email to a friend or family member
- Practice public speaking with a demonstration
Intermediate
- Learn about conflict and how to resolve conflict
- Explore effective communication using social media
- Understand how culture impacts communication
- Write a press release for a newspaper or blog post
- Practice public speaking with a short speech
Advanced
- Learn about different kinds of electronic communication and when to use them
- Analyze advertisements
- Write a resume and cover letter
- Learn American Sign Language or a language from another country
- Become a digital storyteller through pictures, video, and audio
- Debate an issue that’s important to you
