Leadership & Community

4 H members testifying before a WI committee.

4‑H leadership and community involvement programs empower young people to be well-informed members of their community who are actively engaged in leadership, partnership, and service. Youth learn about civic affairs, build decision-making skills, and develop understanding and confidence in relating and connecting with others. These life skills help grow 4-H youth into true leaders.

There are project options for members in grades 5K-12. The projects listed on this page show a variety of ways for youth to get involved, build understanding of themselves and others, connect to the world around them, and share their gifts.
