2025-26 Required Annual Volunteer Training

Who is this training for?

All adult volunteers who work with youth in Extension programs.

Volunteering with youth in Extension programs is a very important role, and comes with the responsibility to keep youth safe in our care.  This annual training for volunteers provides strategies and best practices for keeping youth and volunteers safe.

All Wisconsin 4-H volunteers are required to report incidents of sexual misconduct that take place in Extension programs and complete training on how to report concerns. This training will help you learn about how to support youth through any incidents you encounter and report those incidents. You will learn about volunteers’ role as a Mandated Reporter, and how to report incidents of child abuse and neglect.
