Connection matters! The Virtual Learning Community connects by sharing and creating opportunities for Wisconsin youth. We are looking for more ways to help youth feel connected. Many of our VLC participants over the past two years have provided great ideas for session topics and ways to use technology to connect.
We want to showcase more of these great sessions being added in our local and statewide communities. Help us, help you connect others to expertise you have found to help youth THRIVE!!
Have you learned about an available session or learning opportunity that provides a virtual option for youth to:
1) Take care of themselves and others
2) Find a new purpose with friends, family or community
3) Learn new things with people with common interests
4) Build new relationships
5) Set a goal/practice a growth mindset
If the answer is ‘YES!’ please share a session with us using this Google Form https://go.wisc.edu/kzvk8h
Sessions you suggest will be reviewed and added to upcoming events VLC promotional material and tagged with a virtual tip.
Virtual Learning Community also wants to connect with local community organizations. If you know a community organization/contact that we should share promotional materials with in your county please contact Erin with the VLC marketing committee (erin.conway@wisc.edu).
Don’t forget to continue to check on upcoming sessions on our calendar or explore the resources on our website https://4h.extension.wisc.edu/virtual-learning-community/
