Wisconsin 4-H and AmeriCorps
Wisconsin 4-H has received an AmeriCorps grant to help us expand our impact statewide! Thanks to funding from Serve Wisconsin, AmeriCorps members will be serving throughout Wisconsin, strengthening our 4-H community and growing our programs.
In the 2023-2024 service year, these members will collaborate with Wisconsin 4-H to build partnerships, identify opportunities for growth, and launch new programming to reach even more youth across the state! Learn more about the incredible work of AmeriCorps here!

Our Goal
Help us reach new and more youth in Wisconsin 4-H! Join the Wisconsin 4-H AmeriCorps team today! Gain valuable experience and impact your community by helping to grow both Wisconsin 4-H and our 4-H partners! Help us:
- seeing what is offered and what COULD be offered;
- participating in meetings to learn more about your county;
- develop and deliver programming to meet identified needs.
Make an impact on the lives of youth and serve with us! Along the way, you will build your skills, including recruitment and retention of youth and volunteers, curriculum review, development and teaching practice, youth development skills and even evaluation.
Oh- and you will earn a living allowance (distributed to you every other week), and earn an education award to help pay for college (past, present or future). We are CURRENTLY recruiting in counties across Wisconsin – for more information about counties and openings, contact Melinda Pollen at melinda.pollen@wisc.edu
