What is Collegiate 4-H?

What is the purpose?

The purpose of a collegiate 4-H program is service, leadership development and professional development. Collegiate 4-H activities can range from working directly with state, county, or local 4-H groups to serving as volunteer leaders for projects, experiential education programs, contests, judging competitions, or assisting with service projects. Additionally, collegiate 4-H programs are to be actively involved in campus activities through the involvement in community service projects and promoting positive youth development.

What are the goals?

  • Help with 4-H programs on a local and state level.
  • Continue to build citizenship, leadership, and life skills among the club’s members and the youth with whom we work.
  • Prioritize community engagement through participation in volunteer and service events on and off campus.
