Dog Quiz Bowl
The Wisconsin 4-H Dog Quiz Bowl is back for 2026!
The 2026 contest will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at UW Green Bay in the STEM Innovation Building, 2019 Technology Way, Green Bay, WI 54311.
Competition in the 4-H Dog Bowl encourages youth to develop a more complete knowledge of dogs and related subjects. This contest provides an educational program for all dog project members, including those who may not own a dog, and provides a way to develop self-confidence, study skills, teamwork, inhibition, and alertness.
The Dog Bowl is a “quiz bowl” competition where all questions deal with dog-related topics and attitudes of friendliness and fairness prevail. Teams of three to four members compete with each other in giving oral answers to questions posed by a moderator. Teams receive points for correct answers and may lose points for incorrect answers. The team with the highest final score is the winner.
The contest is organized on a bracket elimination style contest with winning teams advancing into further rounds until a champion team emerges.

Registration must be completed through 4-H Online by March 30, 2026
Team Registration Fee: There is a $15.00 entry fee per team. Payment is due by the day of the event. Payment can be made by check prior to the event or on the day of the contest.
Check payment should be made payable to “WI 4-H Dog Association”

To register: You need to be a currently enrolled 4-H volunteer to register teams for the contest.

How to register your team (See link below for helpful screen shoots and more detailed instructions)
1. Click on this link (same as the one above): https://20264hdogquizbowl.4honline.com
2. Click on the blue button in the lower right corner that says “Register.”
3. Enter your email address and click on the Send Email button to get a link to log in emailed to you.
If you are an existing family, use the same email address as your family login in 4-H online.
4. Click on your name in the existing names – you will be able to enter team member names in later.
5. It will ask you what type of registration you want to do, click on county registration.
6. You will go through the questions to register the teams. You can register all of teams on this screen.
7. On the Payment screen, click on Pay by Check (checks are sent ahead of time or brought to the contest).
8. You will receive a confirmation email.

State Scholarships
Needs-based scholarships are available for youth who participate in Statewide Educational Experiences. Scholarships require an application that is submitted to the state office. For more information on these scholarships and to apply, please visit the Scholarship page on our website.
