Marla Kluge

Sauk County 4-H Volunteer Leader

Marla Kluge has been a dedicated leader in the Sauk County 4-H program for over three decades. She recently retired from serving as treasurer of the Sauk County 4-H Leader’s Association since 1995, a role where she consistently demonstrated exceptional financial stewardship. Her accurate and transparent accounting practices were invaluable to the organization.

Beyond her financial expertise, Marla played a crucial role in developing and promoting a countywide scholarship program. This initiative provides 4-H members with the opportunity to apply for scholarships to attend educational experiences and leadership development programs, enriching their experiences and fostering their growth. The positive impact of Marla’s tireless efforts will continue to benefit countless Sauk County 4-H members for years to come.

Marla’s dedication extends beyond the 4-H program. She is an active member of her church community, assists with local elections as a poll worker and, alongside her husband, helped with the early Baraboo area Kops for Kids Christmas programs, demonstrating her commitment to supporting local initiatives and making a positive difference in the lives of others.

When not engaged in community service, Marla enjoys spending time with her husband. Their shared passions include embarking on road trips in their collection of antique cars as members of the Dells Cruisers Club. Marla also shows her creative side through painting ceramics, a passion that grew from a 4-H project.
