Eugene Erichsen

GE

Kewaunee County 4-H Volunteer

Eugene has been involved in Kewaunee County 4-H his entire life. He was a 4-H member, and after 4-H graduation, he immediately enrolled as a key leader. Forty-seven years later, he is still volunteering.

Eugene may be best known as the bus driver for Erichsen’s Bus Company, for he has driven to countless 4-H destinations such as Camp TaPaWingo, Horseshoe Bay Camp, and Camp Bird. He often chaperones as well. He has been to Wisconsin 4-H & Youth Conference and 4-H interstate exchanges. If there was a 4-H bus trip somewhere, Eugene was either driving the bus or riding as a chaperone. He has worked in the concession stand for Green Bay Packers games, helped host Area Animal Science Days, and served on the board of directors for the Kewaunee County 4-H Leaders Association.

Eugene gives back to his broader community by working as a town clerk official. He can be counted on to help wherever he is needed. He is a humble man who will always have a smile on his face and a chuckle from his belly.
