Wisconsin has an abundant and diverse wildlife resource.  Some species are hunted or trapped while others are fully protected by state and/or federal law.  It is important for Shooting Sports participants to learn how to identify common and important species, as well as understand wildlife management and law enforcement, wildlife ecology, hunting, sportsmanship & ethics, and game utilization.  These activities suggest some ways to introduce these ideas to shooting sports participants.
