This 3-part curriculum series takes youth from learning about insect parts and functions to collecting insects to conducting research and more.

Audience: Grades 3-12

• Teaming with Insects, Level 1—Level 1 introduces the world of insects. Activities focus on how they look and move and provide some background for studying important entomology topics. (Grades 3-5)
• Teaming with Insects, Level 2—This level focuses on tools and ways to collect insects, helping youth explore and appreciate the diversity of the insect world. (Grades 6-8)
• Teaming with Insects, Level 3—Level 3 delves even deeper into the basic concepts and encourages youth to take control of their learning by doing their own research using the scientific method and reference materials. (Grades 9-12)
• Entomology Curriculum: Facilitator’s Guide—Find supports and guidance for the facilitator to encourage youth to learn in this project.
