Leader Guide

The Leader Guide includes all the content from the Project Guide and provides project leaders with additional tips and suggestions as they support youth through their regalia project.

Note: Project leaders who wish to use these guides are encouraged to work with Indigenous partners who already know how to make regalia.

Length: 20 pages

Note: Regalia making for powwow dancing holds cultural significance specific to Native American/Indigenous peoples. However, anyone can learn about the historical value of regalia to Native people. If you are a non-Native person, we encourage you to learn more about cultural appreciation and use the regalia-making guides to explore the cultural and historical significance of this art form.
