This 3-part natural resources curriculum looks older, but it’s still a great way to get youth outside learning and exploring in the nature.
Audience: Grades 3-12
- Step into Nature, Level 1—Youth will explore fun ways to learn about nature both indoors and out. Compare different kinds of animals, collect and compare leaves, and do some fun experiments to learn all about the natural world around you!
- Explore the Natural World, Level 2—Youth will explore fun ways to learn about nature both indoors and out. Develop wetland and habitat use plans, write a public service announcement, and conduct an interview and fun experiments to learn all about the natural world around you!
- Blaze the Trail, Level 3—Youth will explore fun ways to learn about nature both indoors and out. Organize a community service event, teach younger 4-H’ers about the natural world, and learn about career opportunities related to natural resources.
