The Exploring Your Environment curriculum has two parts plus a facilitator’s guide. Youth will learn about a range of environmental topics and how to help take care of the environment.
Audience: Grades 6-8
- Exploring Your Environment: Ecosystem Services—This resource provides an introduction to ecosystem services, exploring topics such as pollination, soil, provisioning services, and ecotourism.
- Exploring Your Environment: Earth’s Capacity—This resource focuses on environmental stewardship and sustainability, and issues such as transportation choices, waste management, composting, recycling, and natural resources.
- Exploring Your Environment: Facilitator Guide—The facilitator’s guide provides training, supplemental activities, and resources to help the facilitator deliver the Exploring Your Environment curriculum.
