Youth will learn about animals in the wild, predator and prey relationships, and much more. The 3-activity series uses games, crafts, and visual aids to teach about wildlife and the environment in fun ways.
- Predator or Prey? Skull Characteristics—Youth learn to identify many of the physical differences between predator and prey. Using diagrams of different skulls you will learn the physical make-up of these animals.
- Makin’ Tracks—Youth learn to make a plaster cast of an animal track.
- Nature Carving—Youth safely explore nature carving for beginners using soap, simple patterns, and additional resources.
Audience: Youth in grades 4 or higher; can be adapted for younger or older youth
Time: 60 minutes for each activity
