Interested in meeting 4-H members from throughout Wisconsin and exploring your unique sparks through exciting statewide opportunities? Apply to join the Wisconsin 4-H Ambassador Teams for Leadership, Arts, and Ag!  

Applications are open in 4-H Online through Dec. 15. 

The Wisconsin 4-H Leadership Ambassadors will advocate for Wisconsin 4-H and engage in opportunities to build personal leadership skills and encourage others to grow their leadership potential. The Leadership Ambassadors will support statewide events including Summer Academy and Fall Forum.  

The Wisconsin 4-H Arts Ambassadors includes 3 smaller teams, each with a specific arts focus.

• Through work together in the spring and summer, 4-H Drama Company creates a stage performance involving acting, song and dance to present at Wisconsin 4-H Summer Academy in Madison. Show content is a collaborative effort between company members and their director. Each Drama Company member contributes ideas for the show and works with the group to problem solve issues on the set and in the script. Drama Company members also lead workshops for youth attending Summer Academy. 
  
• 4-H Arts Team creates collaborative artwork to represent Wisconsin 4-H each year as well as mounting the Wisconsin State 4-H Art Show held at the Ruth Davis Gallery on UW-Madison campus.  During Summer Academy, team members teach seminars and train to be peer leaders for county and regional events including Fall Forum. The 4-H Arts Team is led by a professional artist who teaches team members artistic techniques using a variety of mediums.
  
• The Communications, Marketing and Media Team (COMM Team) is an opportunity for 4-H members to build their communication skills by helping to tell the story of Summer Academy and Wisconsin 4-H. Youth work with video, photography and written communication mediums while supporting a wide variety of activities throughout the 4-H calendar year.

New for 2026 is the WI 4-H Ag Ambassador Team. There are so many great 4-H Ag-vocates and we want your voice to be part of our first Ag Ambassador team. Youth and adult team members will work together to contribute ideas and shape our statewide programs. Members of the team will build leadership skills, meet other teens from throughout the state, and engage in opportunities to teach others. 

Ambassador Teams are open to youth currently in grades 9-12.  The cost to participate will be $500 and scholarships are available as part of the application process. Applications are open in 4-H Online, and will be due December 15, 2025.
