4-H Youth Meet U.S. Senator and Staff During Citizenship Washington Focus

Wisconsin 4-H Citizenship Washington Focus participants experienced an exciting privilege when they were in Washington D.C. this summer. While on Capitol Hill, they met with U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin and a staffer from Sen. Ron Johnson’s office! Youth toured the nation’s capitol and developed their knowledge of active citizenship and the U.S. government. Wisconsin 4-H experiences like Citizenship Washington Focus broaden youth horizons and help them be ‘Beyond Ready’ — prepared to plan and navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in work and life.
