The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, also known as The Royal, is an annual agricultural fair that is held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada during the first two weeks of November. It was inaugurated in 1922 and remains an important event for livestock breeders, agribusiness, and horse exhibitors. King Charles III is the fair’s royal patron, and it is the largest indoor agricultural fair in the world.

To qualify to attend the Royal, Jefferson County 4-H youth needed to participate in at least fifty hours of educational learning in the livestock and food projects of their choice. This year’s youth attendees contained a contingent of enterprising Boer Goat breeders who forged valuable connections with young breeder’s across Canada. 4-H youth were able to explore careers in agriculture, genetic advancements, and new agricultural research from the University of Guelph. Youth participants would encourage 4-H members across the state to visit and experience first hand what makes this event unlike any other fair.
