National 4-H Week is October 6-12, and the Wisconsin 4-H Leadership Council would like to showcase that week by encouraging 4-H clubs to participate in a service project around that time. As part of this statewide project, you and your club are encouraged to create meaningful service projects to benefit your community.
Community Service is an important part of 4-H clubs and groups. In the 4-H pledge, we pledge our “hands to larger service” and we know that 4-H clubs are carrying out these service projects throughout the year. Our hope is that your club will be able to join this effort and consider a project in the fall to be part of our statewide service project!
How can your club join in the statewide service project? Work together to select a project, register your idea , and carry out the service project. Make sure to include youth voice and decision making in the process!
We hope that your club will join us to make a big impact in Wisconsin and celebrate National 4-H Week!
