Miles Payne is excited to join UW-Madison Division of Extension in Waukesha County and to return to a familiar part of the mid-west where he grew up just shy of the Wisconsin-Illinois border in McHenry County. Miles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology from Eastern Michigan University and an Masters of Arts in Child Development & Family Studies from West Virginia University. Following his education, Miles joined Purdue Extension in Indiana as an Educator in 4-H Youth Development and Health & Human Sciences for two years before coming to Wisconsin. Miles’ programming strengths include outdoor recreation, character/leadership development, and civic engagement.
