One way to ensure that even some of your “quieter” members get a chance to share is to use the THINK-PAIR-SHARE strategy. Here’s how . . . Prompt the group to think, on their own, about (and write down) their response to the question. When prompted, have them find a partner and share their thoughts with them. When prompted again, have each pair find another pair and share the ideas within a group of four. Ex: What activities would you like to do for our winter party? What would you like the theme for our silent auction basket to be?
