Program Description

Each year, dairy industry leaders from around the world gather in Madison, Wisconsin, for World Dairy Expo, the premier international dairy event held at the Alliant Energy Center. As part of this renowned gathering, the National 4-H Dairy Conference brings together young leaders in the dairy industry from across North America. The conference provides participants with unique opportunities to build meaningful connections, develop leadership skills, and gain a deeper understanding of the dairy industry. Through educational experiences, industry tours, and networking opportunities, youth learn about the many areas of dairy production, processing, marketing, and product distribution. National 4-H Dairy Conference promotes collaboration and connection among industry professionals, educators, and youth organizations with attention to growth and development of young people. Participants explore career opportunities, strengthen their understanding of the dairy industry, and practice citizenship, teamwork, and group participation. By bringing together future dairy leaders in the heart of the global dairy industry, the National 4-H Dairy Conference inspires young people to expand their knowledge, broaden their perspectives, and make lasting contributions to agriculture and their communities.

Please be aware that National 4-H Dairy Conference delegates may participate in the National 4-H Dairy Cattle Judging Contest, but are not eligible to exhibit cattle at the World Dairy Expo due to time constraints.
