In Memoriam of Arnie McMahon
Rosie and Arnie began their 4-H involvement shortly after their marriage in 1950. They were leaders in the Maple Valley 4-H Club for 43 years. They were very dedicated to the Interstate Exchange program, traveling and hosting throughout the US. They have been active in civic community service activities including maintaining county roadside property and Boy Scout leadership for five years.
Arnie led electricity and dairy programs and served on the Oconto County Fair Board for 24 years.
Rosie led the gardening project and served as the fair gardening superintendent for 40 years. She began the county Fairest of the Fair contest.
Arnie passed away in 2007. Rosie continued her involvement through 2013 when she retired after 60 years of 4-H leadership.
