4-H Members and 4-H Volunteers must use this chart as a guide when deciding appropriate tools and skills to use and incorporate in a woodworking project. The “X” indicates the appropriate level to learn respective skills. An exception could be made where a youth has advanced skills, the proven maturity to manage more advanced tools, and one on one supervision will occur.
