Welcome Elliott Lawrence to Washington County 4-H

Before joining the University of Wisconsin-Madison Extension Team, Elliott worked for the Ohio State University Extension as a 4-H Educator. In addition to leading a county-based 4-H program, Elliott developed several new initiatives including a hands-on comprehensive STEM Education program that introduced youth to robotics, 3D printing, coding, and UAV (drone technology). Elliott’s work in this area was recognized by his peers for bringing innovative technology to under-served youth.

Elliott received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Bluffton University and earned his Master of Arts Degree in Education from the University of Findlay. While at the University of Findlay, Elliott was the Graduate Assistant for the Web and Media Technology Services Department.

Elliott started working in Washington County and the new 4-H Program Educator on November 15th and is looking forward to meeting with 4-H members, volunteers, families and community partners as he begins his new position.
