New Wisconsin 4-H Agriculture and Animal Science Specialist, Jill Jorgensen

Hello Wisconsin 4-H members, volunteers, and families!

My name is Jill Jorgensen, and I am so excited to begin my new role as the Wisconsin 4-H Agriculture and Animal Science Specialist. If my name sounds familiar to you, before this role, I was the 4-H Youth Development Educator and Youth Development Associate Professor in Kewaunee County since 2004. Additionally, we may have worked together with the WI State 4-H Horse Adult and Youth Association, Area Animal Science Days, many statewide animal science events, or statewide conferences. I am passionate about volunteer support, youth-adult partnerships, building leadership and life skills with young people, and of course, agriculture and animal science. I cannot wait to see our members and volunteers at statewide events, work with you to build new opportunities, and help youth (and volunteers) find their sparks in the 4-H program.

I will be headquartered at UW-Green Bay in the STEM Innovation building if you are in the area and would like to schedule a meeting. If you would like to get in touch, please e-mail me at jill.jorgensen@wisc.edu.
