The Wisconsin 4-H Leadership Council, State Art Team, State Drama Team, and State Communication Team have been busy and continue to stretch and adapt during ever changing times.
Wisconsin Leadership Council is a group of youth leaders and adult volunteers who plan statewide leadership programs and advise the state staff on the future of Wisconsin 4-H programming. They are in the midst of planning the 2021 Fall Forum, which will be held on Saturday, November 6 at the Green Lake Conference Center. Please consider submitting a session and check out last week’s article for more information.
There are 7 youth leaders on the State Art Team this year, and they are working on a collaborative piece of art to be displayed at a future 4-H program. They are hoping to use the art piece to tell our 4-H stories from the last 18 months. The Art Team would like to invite youth from around the state to share stories that can be included in the art piece. If you are interested in sharing a story, please complete this Google Form by July 28.
The State Communications Team has started a brand new Instagram account that also celebrates the stories of Wisconsin 4-H members: @TellYour4hStory. They are looking for youth and volunteers to share their earliest 4-H memories and their current 4-H activities through pictures. Message the Instagram account directly if you want to share yours.
Our State Drama Team members are great storytellers and are preparing for a State Team Weekend Workshop August 6-7. During their time together, they will be working on telling the State 4-H Team Stories. Be on the lookout for those stories!!
