Virtual Learning Community – Summer Break

As we transition back to in-person programming, we wanted to share our appreciation and an update on the Virtual Learning Community (VLC).

Thank you to everyone who participated and/or led programs through the PYD Virtual Learning Community. We were able to offer over 50 sessions ranging in topics from pie making and poultry to natural sciences and challenging conversations. Over 1,000 individuals registered for Virtual Learning Programs and our evaluation data overwhelmingly supports that participants are more likely to attend statewide opportunities if they are virtual.

For those who facilitated a session or encouraged others to submit, we would like to extend an extra big THANK YOU.

The Virtual Learning Community will be taking a break this summer. What does this mean?

  • We will promote and support sessions already on the calendar.
  • We will not be accepting any new submissions for the VLC Calendar. The submission form is currently closed on our website. If you have an idea for the Fall or Winter VLC Calendar and would like to start thinking through and planning, please feel free to complete this Google Interest Form and a member of the VLC will follow up as time allows.
  • We will be looking forward to connecting with you in the Fall!!
